Device Data FHIR resource management and Subscription status enhancements

This Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Device Data FHIR Service release includes these capabilities:

  • Create and restore resources with PUT: Use client-assigned logical IDs to create resources, update existing resources, and restore logically deleted resources in FHIR R4 and R6 Ballot 4. Creation and restoration require both create and update permission and return 201 Created; updating a live resource returns 200 OK. See Create, Update, and Restore Resources with PUT.
  • Protect updates from concurrent changes: Include the resource's ETag in the optional If-Match header when updating a resource with PUT in FHIR R4 or R6 Ballot 4. A version mismatch returns 412 Precondition Failed without changing the resource. See Update the Patient.
  • Authorize Subscription status requests: FHIR R6 Ballot 4 Subscription/$status operations use Subscription search permission for type-level requests and Subscription read permission for instance-level requests. A separate SubscriptionStatus scope is not required. See Subscription Status.
