Kubernetes Workloads

The Kubernetes Workloads dashboard provides an overview of deployments, ReplicaSets, DaemonSets, StatefulSets, jobs, and CronJobs across your clusters and namespaces. Use the workload summaries to compare desired and reported states, review job completion, and check scheduled jobs. Event trends help you identify workloads with unusual activity for further investigation.

Here's the list of widgets displayed in the Kubernetes Workloads dashboard:

Widget Description
Clusters Shows the number of Kubernetes clusters represented in the workload data.
Namespaces Shows the number of namespaces represented in the workload data.
Deployments Shows the number of Kubernetes deployments reported.
ReplicaSets Shows the number of Kubernetes ReplicaSets reported.
DaemonSets Shows the number of Kubernetes DaemonSets reported.
StatefulSets Shows the number of Kubernetes StatefulSets reported.
Jobs Shows the number of Kubernetes jobs reported.
CronJobs Shows the number of Kubernetes CronJobs reported.
Workloads Events Trend Shows the volume of Kubernetes events associated with workloads over time, grouped by workload resource. Use it to identify workloads with unusual increases in event activity.
Deployments Summary Lists deployments and their namespaces, availability and progression states, and desired, ready, and available replica counts. Use it to identify deployments that haven't reached their desired replica count.
ReplicaSets Summary Lists ReplicaSets and their namespaces, owning deployments, and desired, ready, and available replica counts. Use it to identify differences between desired and available replicas.
DaemonSets Summary Lists DaemonSets and their namespaces, including desired, scheduled, ready, and misscheduled pod counts. Use it to identify nodes where DaemonSet pods aren't scheduled or ready as expected.
StatefulSets Summary Lists StatefulSets and their namespaces, including desired, current, and ready replica counts. Use it to identify StatefulSets that haven't reached the required state.
Jobs Summary Lists Kubernetes jobs and their namespaces, completion status, completion count, and completion time. Use it to review incomplete or unsuccessful jobs.
CronJobs Summary Lists CronJobs and their namespaces, schedules, active job counts, suspension states, and most recent scheduled times. Use it to verify that scheduled jobs are enabled and running as expected.
