Kubernetes Pods

The Kubernetes Pods dashboard provides an overview of pod status, placement, and log activity across clusters and namespaces.

Use this dashboard to identify pending or failed pods, review warning events, and inspect pod details such as IP addresses, nodes, and owning controllers. Pod event trends and log distribution help you identify unusual activity for further investigation.

Here's the list of widgets displayed in the Kubernetes Pods dashboard:

Widget Description
Clusters Shows the number of Kubernetes clusters represented in the pod data.
Namespaces Shows the number of namespaces represented in the pod data.
Pods Status Lists the latest reported status of pods, including the node, namespace, start time, and number of associated records. Use it to locate pods that are failed, pending, or otherwise not running normally.
Pods Running Shows the number of pods reported with the Running status.
Pods Pending Shows the number of pods reported with the Pending status. Use it to identify pods that haven't yet been scheduled or started.
Pod Events Trend Shows the volume of Kubernetes events associated with pods over time, grouped by pod. Use it to identify pods with unusual increases in event activity.
Pods with Warning Events Shows pods associated with Kubernetes events of the Warning type. Use it to focus troubleshooting on pods experiencing scheduling, image, storage, or runtime problems.
Pod Info Lists pod configuration and placement details, including namespace, IP address, node, controller, controller kind, and scheduler.
Pod Logs Shows the distribution of collected log records by pod. Use it to identify pods generating the largest share of log data.
